BNV তিনি মন্দিরে এক মূর্ত্তি স্থাপন করেছিলেন যেখানে প্রভু দায়ূদ ও তাঁর পুত্র শলোমনের কাছে ঘোষণা করেছিলেন, “আমি এই মন্দিরে এবং ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত অঞ্চলগুলির মধ্যে থেকে যাকে মনোনীত করেছি সেই জেরুশালেমে আমার নাম চিরকাল রাখব| সেই মন্দিরে তিনি একটি মূর্ত্তি স্থাপন করলেন|
KJV And he set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
YLT And he placeth the graven image of the idol that he made in the house of God, of which God said unto David, and unto Solomon his son, `In this house, and in Jerusalem that I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I put My name to the age,
RV And he set the graven image of the idol, which he had made in the house of God, of which God said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:

ERVEN Manasseh also made a statue of an idol and put it in God's Temple—the very same Temple that God had talked about to David and his son Solomon. God had said, "I will put my name in this house and in Jerusalem—the city that I chose from all the cities in all the tribes—and my name will be there forever!
